Out of total vacancies 2848 posts of Constable (GD) are allotted only for Female candidates.
Limitation of Age: – Upper age of applicants should not be exceeded 23 years and lower age should not be receded 18 years. (age would be counted on 01.08.2012)
Education Qualification: – Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board.
Physical Standard: –
(Male) Height : - 170 CM; Chest: – 80 CM (with out expansion) 05 CM of minimum Extension is needed
(Female) Height: – 157 CM
Relaxation in Physical Standard would be admissible for the candidates of Garhwal, Kumaon, Gorkha, Dogra and Martha. North Eastern domicile candidates are also eligible to get benefit of relaxation of Physical standard. Such areas of candidates height is required for 165 CM for Male and 155 CM for Female. In case of ST representative height would be 162.5 CM for Male and 150 CM for Female.
Process of Selection: – On accordance of results of PET, Written Test and Medical Examination candidates will be selected. Each and every steps are mandatory, candidates will have to clear all steps in serial wise mode. Means candidates will have to clear Physical Measurement test followed by Physical Efficiency Test. After clearing both candidates will be called for Written Test. Candidates find eligible in Written Test will be called for Medical Examination.
Exam Fee; – Rs. 50/- in shape of CRFS or Bank Challan. Candidates who are sending applications through offline are required to pay application fee by CRFS and in rest of the case candidates may send their application fee through SBI Bank Challan.
How to apply: – Candidates eligible may send their applications in Offline / Online mode. Candidates prompting to apply online are required to ensure about deposit of application fee through SBI Bank Challan. A valid E-Maid ID is required for future reference. Scanned Photograph and Digital Signature both are required during filling of applications. So applicants should have to arrange all such thing.
