Recruitment details for the jobs of Probationary Officer (PO) in Bank of India: -

Name of Position – Probationary Officer ( PO ) / General Banking Officer Scale – I
Total No. of Vacancies – 1800 ( Gen-870, OBC-460, SC – 286 and ST – 184 )


Salary – Applicants who will be selected as Probationary Officer ( PO ) will be paid Rs. 14500 – 25700/- per month

Age limit – Applicants’ age should be between 21 years and 30 years as on 01.07.2011 for the Probationary Officer (PO) job. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and Relaxation of 3 years for OBC Candidates will be given in their maximum age.

Educational Qualification – Applicants should have passed graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university and  IBPS PO Common Written Examination with minimum 130 marks ( 117 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD)
 
Application Fee – Applicants belonging to general and OBC Category will have to pay  Rs. 200/- through challan. SC/ST/ PWD are exempted from paying application fee.

Selection procedure - Applicants will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in IBPS PO Common Written Examination ( 250 marks ) and Interview ( 100 marks ).
